Engineering offices registration universal requirements

  1. To rent an office equipped with sanitary supplies and duly furnished.
  2. To fill the office and engineer registration forms made available by the engineering office section.
  3. To appoint an administrative and technical staff as per the office categorization (draughtsman / administrative…)
  4. To a bring the office headquarter lease contract from the municipality where the office is situated in the jurisdiction thereof.
  5. To pay the financial liabilities to the Association (annual subscriptions).
  6. To interview the engineer(s) working at the office including the founders at the Offices Department.
  7. To inspect the office by the Offices Department after it had been equipped and furnished.
  8. If the office is located out of Amman, the registration application must be submitted to the Branch Committee in which the office is located in order to inspect the office, interview the engineers and submit a report thereof to the center in Amman.
  9. In case of a company registration application, it must be first registered with Ministry of Industry & Trade and the Association must be provided with an attested copy of the registration certificates.
  10. In order to obtain a technical name for the office, it shall make a request to the Body for the name wanted to be registered. After the approval, the office will register the name with the Ministry of Industry & Trade.
  11. To bring a scheme (horizontal projection of the office) of a scale of a map (1/100) with furniture, as well as space identification.
  12. The office will be activated after the professions practicing license is made available.
  13. In order for an engineering office or company is registered, its owner is required to pass a readiness interview to be held by an ad hoc committee to be formed for this purpose.
