Fees

A. The Association shall collect from the Jordanian engineering offices the following registration fees and annual fees:

1. An office categorized as an engineer office or an expert engineer office:

• Registration fees of JD 60.
• Annual fees of JOD 30.

2. An office categorized as an engineering office:

• Registration fees of JD 80.
• Annual fees of JD 30 per the first four specialties plus JOD 15 per specialty beyond the fourth one.

3. An office categorized as a consultation office:

• Registration fees of JD 100.
• Annual fees of JD 80 per the first four specialties plus JD 15 per specialty beyond the fourth one.

B. The following registration and subscription fees shall be collected from the non-Jordanian engineering offices:

• Registration fees of JD 3500.
• Annual fees of JD 2000.

C. If an engineering office upgraded its categorization to a higher level:

The annual fees shall be paid for the new categorization less the annual fee previously paid for the same year. If the change is made during the registration year, the registration fee will be treated as an annual fee.

D. If new specialties are added to the engineering offices:

When the annual fee is paid, the fees for the added specialties are collected if an increase of fees are incurred when a registration request is made for the first time. As for the annual fee, it will be paid in the first time when the request is approved for the year of the part of the year in which the registration is made. The next fee will be payable in January of the following year. In any case, the engineering offices will only be allowed to practice their work after they pay all their fees payable by them for that year and the previous ones.

E. The annual fees payable by the engineering offices shall be paid as follows:

By no later than the end of February of each year; and any office failing to pay the annual fee prior to the said date, it will be required to pay an additional fee of 15% of the due fee until the end of June of the same year and 30% of that due fee following the said date.
