Your Tasks:

• New product development as well as advancements of customized software solutions in a production environment.

• You are a part of the whole development cycle, starting from the design process and setting the specifications to implementing and testing as well as the final launch of the product.

• You will be involved in the architectural design and further design decisions.

• Support and maintenance of the developed software applications.

Requirements:

· Relevant Engineering Degree.

· substantiated knowledge in Java.

· good knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design.

· Experience with common tools and programming environment (e.g. Eclipse, JUnit, Maven, Jen-kins, SVN, Git, MS Office).

· self-dependent work attitude within customer or internal projects.

· good analytical skills, ability to abstract, creativity in solving problems, ability to work in teams, and good knowledge of German and English in speaking and writing.

These skills would be a plus;

• Experience with SECS/GEM or software development for manufacturing or automation technology.

• sufficient knowledge of relational database systems like Oracle SQL.

• Interest in Industry 4.0, Smart Factory, and digitalization of production operations.
